Project
Restoration of the Factory Building, 1854

Best Implemented Restoration Project

About the project (provided by the applicant)
In 1854, architect I.A. Charushin gave the factory building in Vakhrushi a new appearance. At that time, the façade became a symbol of industrial progress. A century passed. At the beginning of the 21st century, I had the honor of being the second author to modernize the façade — continuing the dialogue with history.

My work is not merely cosmetic. It is a new concept for the façade and color scheme, carefully integrated into the historic appearance. Original elements have been preserved — every detail of the façade has been restored to maintain its character. The color palette uses noble terracotta-brown tones, emphasizing the combination of tradition and modernity. The tower clock — a symbol of time — now works again, reminding us that the past and future are connected. Architectural lighting softly highlights the façade without conflicting with the architecture, delicately revealing its beauty.

Today, the factory façade has once again become a symbol of time, the strength of memory, and the courage to move forward.
