The historical and documentary project organized by the Manege Central Exhibition Hall in St. Petersburg was dedicated to the 80th Anniversary of Victory and to the heroic contribution of home-front workers during the Great Patriotic War. The exhibition took place from March 21 to June 22, 2025.
The project explored the work of the home front during the war and the daily lives of civilians. Key themes included the economy and organization of labor in this period; systems of medical care and rehabilitation for the wounded; the transformation of cultural life; mobilization of industry and agriculture; development of mineral deposits; and the adoption of new methods of production that made the Soviet victory possible.
Each theme was presented through multimedia infographics and revealed with authentic items and artifacts from state museums and private collections, archival photo and video documents, art installations, and architectural and planning solutions.
