This project at 31 Taunton Road, Toronto, is designed on a moderately sized lot and includes a basement and two floors. The basement features a one-bedroom suite with a bathroom, offering flexibility as a rental unit or a private space.
On the first floor are the living room, kitchen, dining area, and a toilet. The second floor provides one bedroom with bathroom, a study, a laundry area, and a master bedroom with a private bathroom and balcony. The rooms are designed with ceilings that extend up to the underside of the pitched roof, creating a spacious interior atmosphere.
Seven skylights, positioned toward the south, brighten the central spaces of the house, while a large rear deck expands the outdoor living experience.
The modern design harmonizes with the neighborhood, and the project is currently in the permitting phase.
