The intersection of Zagorodny Prospekt with Lomonosova and Rubinstein streets, known to St. Petersburg residents as «Five Corners,» is graced by an architectural dominant: the Sh. Z. Ioffe Revenue House, created in 1913–1914 according to the design of architect A. L. Lishnevsky. The building is notable for its unique elements: display windows on the lower floors, relief cornices, columns, pilasters with caryatids, and a two-tiered corner tower.
The artistic lighting carefully reveals the rich decor of the facades, softly accentuating the plasticity of the architectural elements. Localized lighting emphasizes the expressiveness of the caryatids, columns, and the tower, creating a play of light and shadow that brings out the volume and depth of the composition. Warm white lighting harmoniously integrates the historic building into the city's nocturnal image, preserving its authenticity and enhancing the atmosphere of the location.
The lighting not only highlights the architectural merits of the object but also underscores its role in shaping the unique appearance of St. Petersburg's iconic intersection.
