Project
7 Houses, 5 Thickness

Category
Best Project of Private Residence

About the project (provided by the applicant)
The project consists of 7 house-shaped sections in 5 different thicknesses. The middle layers are thin, transparent and in interaction with the environment. This section is dedicated to the main entrance and the connecting bridge of the house, which is in contact with light and sky in a constant transformation. It was supposed to be a passage space, but it settles you as soon as you enter.
But the other layers are thick, safe and calm. These parts consist of two functions: Served and Servant. For example, the thicker one is the living room, dining room, pool or master bedroom and the thinner one is the kitchen, stair and bathroom. All of them are houses, only sometimes they enclose us and sometimes they release us in their middle layers.
