About the project
Sumisura is a frames and doors store based in the city of Belo Horizonte. The project is the result of a careful intervention, carried out in a garden attached to a house listed by the city's heritage. With great delicacy, the entire project was made around the existing trees, and none of them were planned to be felled. The store develops around nature. The shape of the architecture, in white metallic structure and glass, allows good lighting and integration between the internal and external areas, mediated by the pivot doors facing the gardens. Inside the store, we took advantage of the empty space between the stairway to create a sculpture of chairs produced by the store.
