ACADEMIA Shuvaloff Mansion is an authentic boutique hotel located in a 19th-century mansion in the historic center of Saint Petersburg. The hotel complex, featuring a restaurant and premium infrastructure, opened in 2024 after restoration of the heritage building and welcomed over 8,500 guests within its first year of operation.
The unique technologies applied by ACADEMIA enabled the rapid renovation of the Shuvalov Mansion (E.A. Vorontsova-Dashkova), creating a new hotel where historical value meets international hospitality standards and contemporary design ideas.
Careful restoration based on historical photographs and documents brought new life to the marble hotel lobby, the main staircase, and the antique wooden entrance. Two historic suites—the Shuvalov and Dashkova residences—became the centerpiece of the mansion. The study of Count Shuvalov, adorned with exquisite stucco decor, now houses the ACADEMIA BAR SHUVALOFF, offering a boutique restaurant experience with signature cuisine and a curated cocktail menu.

Its mission is to give a second life to Russia’s cultural heritage. Over a few years, the company completed four projects totaling over 3 billion RUB, with several more heritage sites in Saint Petersburg and Moscow currently in progress.
