About the project
As the city can’t boast a finished center, the authors suggested renovating the district, which resulting in an old universal store transformation into a multifunctional public space, and readjustment of Tatneft headquarters with due regard to the company’s image. The parking was replaced with a public space with a children’s playground, a recreation zone, and a promenade.
The center comprises an exhibition space, a café, a scientific and entertainment center, and school of linguistic, a cinema, and a restaurant. The perforated façade is a nod to the region’s oil bearing formations. The 12-storey administrative cluster with a 15-storey tower is adjoined y the conference hall and the canteen.
