About the project (provided by the applicant) As part of the development of the tourist cluster in the city of Laishovo (Tatarstan) on the picturesque bank of the Kuybyshev Reservoir, a modern aquatic complex is being designed to become an important part of the recreational infrastructure for active and family leisure. The architectural appearance of the complex is inspired by the dynamics of water – waves, ripples, and splashes – expressed through the fluidity of the curvilinear façades and roof, creating the impression of the building as an extension of the water surface.
The complex combines three key functions: an entertainment area with water slides, a wave pool, children’s spaces, and a connecting “lazy river” leading to heated outdoor pools; a wellness and recreational block (SPA) with various saunas, thermal zones, pools, and hotel rooms on the second floor with a separate entrance; and a sports zone with a 50-meter pool, training halls, and spaces for group activities.
