About the project (provided by the applicant)
Arabica Sandloop Pavilion, designed by Armani Architects, is a pioneering 3D-printed structure inspired by Dubai’s natural landscape—its dunes, caves, and mountains. Created for the Arabica café brand, the pavilion reflects a forward-thinking vision of sustainability and public space design in line with Dubai’s urban strategies. The architecture blends organic curves in the roof, walls, and ground using robotic fabrication and sustainable sand-based materials. Its sculptural form invites visitors through grand arches and flowing pathways, creating a sensory journey shaped by shadow, light, and tactile textures. This project stands as a fusion of tradition and innovation—merging local context with cutting-edge technology to offer an immersive and sustainable architectural experience.
