About the project
The project embraces three facilities different in function and architecture, namely the bridge, the Linjiang Building and the pier. The author turned to Chinese architectural classics, bringing into focus consistency of times and styles.
The bridge floor is located within an arch-like tube, made of metal frame with transparent flooring.
The pier comprises a forum, recreation zones and an arbor with cafes and boutiques.
The 3-storey Linjiang Building is designed step-like, its height smoothly increasing towards its end opposite the entrance. Elements of its roof resemble traditional Chinese roofing and are painted with different colors.
