The reconstruction of the Art-Resort Exhibition Hall addressed the task of modernizing a compact space. In 120 sq.m, a multifunctional area was created that can be quickly and easily transformed for changing exhibitions. The necessary infrastructure—ticket area, cloakroom, storage rooms, and restroom for visitors with limited mobility—was seamlessly integrated into the project. A design highlight is the built-in painting storage system with an illuminated logo. A separate office behind a mirrored door provides comfortable working conditions for staff.
Mobile partitions, storage systems, and oak-veneered panels were produced in collaboration with local manufacturers, emphasizing the connection between culture and Sestroretsk’s industrial heritage.
After 34 years of operation, the renovated hall literally opened up to the city through panoramic stained-glass windows. The space acquired modern technical capabilities for large-scale exhibitions and remains an important center of cultural life in the district.

The museum complex in Razliv (founded in 2005) includes four branches, among which is the Art-Resort Exhibition Hall. It is a modern multi-format space hosting art and local history exhibitions, art dialogues, workshops, performances, and concerts. The exhibition hall is a key venue for the cultural life of the local community, accommodating both historical heritage and contemporary art. “Art-Resort” is the creative heart of the district, where ideas, inspiration, and art are born.
