Library “Azart”

Best Design Project for Library
About the project (provided by the applicant)
Library “Azart” is a modern family library where visitors can immerse themselves in a world of knowledge and intellectual leisure while enjoying a wide range of services. Planned activities include useful workshops, lectures, meetings with interesting people, art exhibitions, and concerts. Visitors can explore the world of books and learn about the history of this unique location.
With modern multimedia equipment, visitors can travel back in time to the site of St. Petersburg’s first confectionery factory, founded by Georg Landrin, see how the factory operated in the past, and learn about “landrinki” sweets. The new creative library space “Azart” offers more than just books—it provides opportunities for new acquaintances, new knowledge, and new achievements in a place where history and modernity intertwine.
