Project
Baffi — Mátria Parque

Best Project of Public Building or Facility

About the project
The Baffi, “mustache” in Italian, will soon be located in a beautiful landscape In Rio Grande do Sul, it is one of the buildings designed for the first park of flowers at such scale in Brazil. Designed to receive park users for a gastronomic experience along the exciting tour, the challenge for this building arises from how to conceive an architecture capable of making the landscape even more beautiful. The geographic territory is a mixture of day and night; an existing topography with different hills, the territory is smooth with slight ascents and descents, imperceptible when walking, but within each short distance, there is a new perspective. The project could not be different, it is implanted like a cave made by man, a building with a concave-convex roof that is camouflaged in the landscape, declaring that he is not the protagonist there. Through its shape and movement, a new vision emerges, even for the name of the project, seen and known as a “Baffi”.
