About the project (provided by the applicant)
The clients received an unusual plot — a significant change in terrain, with the boundary extending into the water. Therefore, it was decided to place the building as close to the shore as possible, using the slope as a starting point in the design.
The house resembles a seaplane preparing to land on water. Rising above the terrain, it then descends: first within the warm interior contour, adding 1.2 meters to the height of the kitchen-living room, and then extending a pier platform over the water.
The upper level contains the entrance hall, bathroom, and three bedrooms. Descending the stairs, one enters a spacious kitchen-living room, which leads to a changing room, shower, and steam room. On the same level is the great-grandmother’s bedroom, minimizing her need to use the stairs.
From the kitchen-living room, one can access an open terrace, while the bath area opens onto a covered terrace with a heated plunge pool and firewood storage.
Below is the pier — a place for diving and fishing, featuring an opening with a hammock for sunbathing in privacy from neighbors.
