A modern cottage for a family of four is designed in the Moscow region, not far from the village of Staraya Ruza, and is stylized as a complex of buildings resembling barns, unified into one volume.
The complex consists of the main cottage, as well as a swimming pool building with auxiliary rooms, connected to the main building by a covered terrace.
The stylistic decisions are driven by several factors. First and foremost, the impression of the location itself. The plot for the construction is located in a picturesque area, surrounded by pine trees, and the barnhouse style in architecture has become a symbol of unity and harmony with nature, functionality, and simplicity. In terms of planning, the cottage has a clear functional zoning for the guest area, private area, and leisure zone. The master bedroom is also separated from the other rooms but leans towards the private zone. The exterior finishes predominantly feature natural materials: natural stone, larch planken, and ceramic brick.
