About the project (provided by the applicant)
The project is inspired by the popular barnhouse style, enriched with elements of traditional Russian countryside aesthetics. Its main goal is to evoke the feeling of visiting a grandmother’s village — where she bakes delicious pies in a wood-fired oven and tends a backyard farm — while integrating contemporary sensibilities. It is a place of spaciousness, where there is always room for children and grandchildren. A home that feels deeply familiar. A modern interpretation of cherished memories.
The illuminated metal façade combined with patterned wooden panels makes this house truly unique. The architectural concept reflects the atmosphere of the past in a modern expression, conveying monumentality, strength, and warmth.
The house features three bedrooms, a well-lit study, and a spacious open-plan kitchen and living area.

“I am the author of the concept and a practicing landscape architect. I also develop architectural concepts for private and public spaces. Simplicity — stripping away the unnecessary while retaining functionality and interest — has been my guiding idea in recent years. I draw inspiration from my travels to the sea and the mountains.”
