About the project (provided by the applicant)
The “Bergloga” residence project is a triumph of individual artistic vision, rejecting the pressures of public taste and the clichés of mass culture. This space is born solely of the creator’s will, every line dictated by the clarity of a personal aesthetic concept — uncompromising and independent of outside opinion. The building’s finish is a manifesto: corrugated sheet metal, typically used for fences, is elevated to its highest aesthetic potential in the hands of a master.
There are no elements designed purely for decoration or mass appeal. Instead, the space reflects the artist’s commitment to the independence of each decision and a principled refusal to follow the path of least resistance or bow to societal expectations. The project declares that true art emerges where people reject ready-made templates and dare to create something new — even if it goes against conventional ideas.
