About the project (provided by the applicant)
The interior was conceived as a sculptural space that preserves a sense of emptiness and silence. The concrete walls of the house became the foundation of the space, while panoramic windows open onto a wild garden framed with warm oak wood. Against this neutral background, the client’s collection of contemporary art and furniture was placed, complemented by custom-designed elements. In this sculptural concrete interior, zigzags interact with smooth curves, elegant sculptures with geometric furniture, contrasting shapes with textures.
An important feature of the project is a light staircase to the basement, resting on the floor with only one step. Made of steel sheets with a honeycomb structure, it appears almost weightless. In the basement, there is a massage room with a wave-shaped wall and contour lighting, while a skylight enhances the effect of the plastic form. As a result, the interior became not only a place to live, but also a space where architecture and art coexist as equals.
