The Church of the Icon of the Mother of God “Provider of Bread” is located on an irregular trapezoidal site with significant differences in elevation. The building is a compact structure with a composition approaching symmetry along the longitudinal and transverse axes. A massive, sculpturally developed rotunda dome is surrounded by a colonnade supporting a hemispherical cupola with a cross. The rectangular apse is emphasized on the facade by the large church icon “Provider of Bread.” The main entrance is located in an arched loggia and is compositionally marked by the bell tower above, finished with a pediment and volumetrically subordinated to the dome. The second clerical floor slightly extends beyond the first and underground levels via a cantilever supported by gentle arches. The church’s architecture is executed in the author’s interpretation of the Empire style.

Author of more than 160 articles, monographs, and textbooks. Designer of several implemented church and residential projects in Moscow and other regions of Russia.
