The creation of a rowing sports complex is a major necessity for the Russian sports community. The goal of the project is to develop a facility capable of hosting and accommodating athletes from across the country and the world for regional, national, and international rowing competitions. This will allow rowing in the Northwest region to reach a new level, as currently there is no suitable venue in St. Petersburg or the Leningrad Region for large-scale rowing events.
The time and significant financial resources saved will allow athletes to focus on improving performance instead of traveling to other cities for full-scale competitions and training sessions. Athletes and visitors will be able to enjoy the local nature and train on a 2,000-meter, 8-lane rowing channel that meets all competition standards.
