Project
“Boiling Point” — Multifunctional Cultural and Recreational Complex
Category
Best Project of Public Space by Student
About the project (provided by the applicant)
The multifunctional cultural center “Boiling Point” reinterprets Moscow’s connection with its historic waterway. The site is located at the intersection of key transport and pedestrian flows and functions as the center of a small town. The complex combines unique facilities — theater, museum, hotel, and spa — with everyday amenities such as cafés and shopping galleries.
The centerpiece of the project is a transformable theater with a traditional auditorium inside and an open concert venue for 7,000 spectators above the river. This is not just a building — it is a nerve center, a boiling point of urban life along the river.
