Best Project of Building or Facility by Student

About the project
Golden irises are a primordial symbol of Brussels, and that’s why it became the key inspiration in the project of a new house of arts designed on a lively square. In plan, the building is shaped like a three-petal flower and has a smooth roof. Minor water basins that surround it remind of the wetlands that once existed in the Seine River valley.
The building will enhance three functional blocks, and its entrance will outlook the popular pedestrian routes. The glass façade will ensure the building’s integration into the existing urban context.
