Project
The Land by Burov Brothers, exhibition

Category
Best Implemented Project of Temporary or Permanent Museum Exposition

About the project
The exhibition showcases paintings and sculptures by Alexander and Vladimir Burov, professional artists residing in the Orenburg province. Alexander sticks to a more realistic style, while Vladimir appreciates abstraction. They paint their village as if it is the whole world for them. This rural universe is the key subject of the exhibition, and hence the active design working as a user-friendly interface. The plots are quite limited – a house, a garden, a barn yard, locals, and surrounding landscapes. Design at the same time highlights special nature of this art and is an independent piece at the exhibition contributing to its atmosphere.
