About the project (provided by the applicant)
This project seeks to resignify the cavernous landscapes by transforming them into living spaces that dialogue with nature. Located next to a waterfall, the design is characterized by its symmetrical morphology and adaptability to the rocky topography, facilitating its integration into the environment. The façade incorporates hanging gardens that merge with the ecosystem, while the building's orientation is designed to ensure thermal and lighting comfort in spaces such as the kitchen and dining room. The apartments are arranged around a longitudinal axis that facilitates circulation, connecting with curved viewpoints that frame the landscape.
Access to the complex is by means of elevated platforms over the water, generating a sensory experience. The structure is made of ferroconcrete with natural finishes, which allows for coherence with the rocky environment. The project proposes an architecture that not only adapts to the environment, but also reinterprets it.
