Best Implemented Apartment / Private House Interior Design Project

About the project
The project consists of the full renovation of an existing 500 m2 house, located north of Madrid.
The interior layout generated dark and compartmentalized spaces, lacking relationships with the exterior and with each other.
The project seeks the idea of a diaphanous floor plan, in which the dimensions and scale of the latter are perceived to generate a sense of space and present visual relationships through longitudinal and transverse axes, maintaining an arrangement that responds to the need for privacy and the feeling of shelter. For this, a central piece is proposed to organize and articulate the rooms, acts as a distributor and generator of spaces. It is a sober and black piece, which relates the core of communication and establishes the breaks that act as transverse axes in the house. In the nuclei, openings for skylights and tearing of holes are proposed, to generate light wells. In the meeting between interior and exterior is located the living room, that frames the view.
