Center of the Russian Navy History, Museum

Best Architectural Design for Museum

About the project
The basic design concept of a museum center dedicated to the history of the Kronshtadt Navy.
The museum building is shaped by two square atriums, their main facade outlooking the Gulf of Finland. The dimensions of the interior premises are defined by the ships, which are the key exhibits here. They are attached to the top bearing trusses and are used to arrange exhibition halls.
Galleries connected with suspended bridges help the visitors navigate through the museum and see the ships from different points of view.
