Project
Ski Retreat: Café and Equipment Rental

Category
Best Project of Building or Facility by Student

About the project (provided by the applicant)
The project was created as a response to the challenges of a mountain environment, where extreme climatic conditions coexist with the need for comfortable and eco-friendly spaces. The building combines a sports equipment rental on the first floor and a panoramic café on the second, creating a point of attraction at the intersection of activity and leisure.

The concept is based on principles of adaptive architecture: the choice of sustainable materials, minimal intervention in the landscape, and the use of technologies that reduce the ecological footprint. Its compact form and structural simplicity allow the building to integrate into the natural context without disturbing its harmony. This is not a universal model, but a project developed for a specific ski landscape, reflecting an understanding of architecture as a practice inseparably connected to place, climate, and culture.
