Project
Multifunctional Public Center “BEAM”
Category
Best Project of Public Space by Student
About the project (provided by the applicant)
The architectural project is a mobile exhibition space consisting of three functional blocks: a sports center, a cinema, and a shopping center with a conference hall and restaurant.
The exhibition space is organized as mobile cubes, which are moved and installed within a column frame using crane beams. Each block is assembled on the site behind the public center, attached to the lifting mechanism, and moved to the required position.
The crane-beam system provides flexible, multi-variant spatial organization for exhibition, auxiliary, and other functions.
The project proposal transforms an abandoned industrial area within the designated boundaries into a multifunctional public infrastructure.
