The sports complex is designed to promote adaptive sports in St. Petersburg and to create comfortable conditions for training and competitions for wheelchair athletes.
The building includes several floors with halls for competitions, choreography studios, a gym, rooms for seminars and conferences, a press center, and an exhibition hall (a museum of dance sport development).
The architecture combines rigor and fluidity, minimalism and expressiveness. The white color emphasizes the purity of the concept, while the rhythm of diagonals conveys a sense of movement akin to dance. The “wings” are not a backdrop but an active participant: they help reveal the idea of movement without boundaries. This is a space created to make the art of dance accessible to everyone.
