About the project
Imagine the evening of July 25. After a busy day at the City of Skyscrapers, Dubai, exhausted by the scorching heat and bustle of the city, you are back home in Daria Island. After entering the home, the sand under your feet makes you feel like you are on the beach while you are at home. With a little attention, you will find that the space is full of sunlight, but you can not see the sun. The combination of color, sunlight and sand of the space will immerse you in peace. suddenly a cool breeze hits your face, Seems there is a lung in the house to receive hot air and transfer the pleasant air into the vessels of the house. Yes... you are in Daria Lungs.
Daria Lungs consist of two linear yards that transfer cool and pleasant air into the living spaces of the house by a passive cooling system. These yards are a combination of the function of the solar chimney, Ground temperature and the central courtyard in hot climates.
