The Augustine Chatillon Hotel is located in the heart of the city and promises to be a treasure for those who value the city's romance and rich history.
In the 19th century, furnished rooms were located here, where artists from the Alexandrinsky Theatre stayed and the creative elite gathered. Augustine Chatillon, after whom the hotel is named, was the beloved of the architect O. Montferrand and the permanent manager of the «Demidovskaya» Hotel.
Work on the project lasted for three years. The development of design solutions took six months, and coordination with the Committee for State Control, Use, and Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments (KGIOP) took the same amount of time.
The main objective was to create a symbiosis of historical details and modern technologies. Unique stucco molding, a luxurious fireplace, and antique lamps are integrated into the contemporary design. Technological engineering solutions are hidden behind the historic façade. The layout of the rooms is designed so that the panorama of St. Petersburg becomes part of the interior. The boundaries of the space blur, flowing into the majestic views of Nevsky Prospect.
