About the project
This is the oldest active Muslim cemetery in the Russian federation, which in 2020 through 2021 was reconstructed under the project by Praktika Studio, solving the following objectives –

  1. providing a high level infrastructure for everyday needs of the local community,

  2. preserving the cemetery as an important place of religious worshiping,

  3. developing new use scenarios for the place, making it a specific recreation public space, a historical landmark, and a point of attraction for tourists.
