Project
Design Concept of the Experimental Residential Module “STOG”

Category
Best Project of Building or Facility by Student

About the project (provided by the applicant)
The residential module “STOG” is located in the village of Skotnoye.

The project is inspired by the image of a haystack — a symbol of simplicity, coziness, rural life, and connection with nature. The form is not only recognizable but also harmoniously integrates into the landscape, becoming part of it.

The module is designed as a compact yet comfortable living space. It is built with eco-friendly materials that create a healthy atmosphere and support the idea of sustainable development.

The main goal is to combine functionality and aesthetics: to make the home convenient, warm, cozy, modern, and environmentally conscious. The interior emphasizes simplicity and naturalness, while the exterior preserves a natural character reminiscent of traditional rural architecture.

This module serves as an example of how modern housing can coexist with and support the natural environment and local traditions.
