About the project
The basic concept of the project is making the premises of the kindergarten comfortable for the kids both on the inside and outside. That’s why there are no sharp corners, and the outer perimeter resembles a merry-go-round. The building is designed wide and globe-shaped for better heat and energy efficiency. This is compliant with the design standards accepted in the Far North, where the wind and snow loads are extremely high.
The winter garden at the flat roof and the atrium lit through the skylight helps with adjusting the building to the subarctic climate.
