This project reimagines the pharmacy as both a service-oriented and commercially driven space. While strict regulations govern the storage and display of medicines, the client’s request to highlight cosmetics and personal care products introduced a dual challenge: balancing functional standards with strong marketing potential.
The design strategy centered on contrast—between the simplicity of the architectural backdrop and the vibrancy of the products—encouraging direct user engagement. Open shelving invites exploration, while professional consultation remains accessible. The irregular site, split into two floor levels with structural obstacles, was reorganized through a linear spatial structure that clarifies circulation, integrates storage, and frames views from the street. Materials, colors, and lighting were deliberately restrained to unify the space and amplify the visibility of products, transforming the pharmacy into an environment that is at once functional and commercial.
