The building complex is located on a mountain slope, almost at the edge of a gorge. The southeastern slopes offer the best views of the valley, which determined the orientation of the façades. The steep terrain makes it possible to design architecture that unfolds along the slope, with the building organically blending into the surrounding landscape. The shapes of the structure become a concise continuation of the relief, reminiscent of wind streams shaping picturesque mountain ranges.
The region is known as the “valley of sun and Narzan.” Oxidized copper is used as a symbolic expression of the sun, open spa areas and pools represent the mineral springs, and the greenery on the terraces reflects the region’s rich flora.
