Design and Development of the Farm and Leisure Complex “Ekopole”

Category
Best Project of Public Space by Student

About the project (provided by the applicant)
The village of Ilzho is a unique project that recreates the atmosphere of a traditional Novgorod village. The architectural composition of the buildings reflects the historical hierarchy of rural development, forming a harmonious unity of space. The functions of the “manor estate” are performed by the restaurant, shop, and club within the children’s camp. All buildings are made of wood, taking into account the regional and national characteristics of the area.

Visitors are offered a variety of leisure activities on the farm, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in nature. It can be either a comfortable stay with full service at the café or an autonomous lifestyle experience with participation in farm work. The key conceptual ideas of the project are the connection between different eras and styles, and the harmonious interaction between humans and nature. This place is envisioned as a center of attraction, combining the comfort of modern living with the authentic atmosphere of traditional Russian life.
