About the project (provided by the applicant)
The project addresses a challenging urban site — a narrow 1,300-meter-long strip adjacent to railway tracks on one side and residential buildings on the other. The main theme of the project is exploring boundaries and fragmentation within urban territories.
The architectural solution is a linear multifunctional structure — an educational cluster for performing arts. It creates an active public space around itself, becoming an attraction zone and a point of territorial development. One of the key goals is to ensure accessibility to arts education. The cluster includes five buildings: residential, educational, recreational, office space for arts professionals, and a workshop building.
The fragmentation of the site is addressed through a monorail passing at the upper floors, connecting the building to nearby metro stations, and pedestrian bridges crossing the railway tracks to the city’s planned business center.
