Extended Apartment

Best Implemented Apartment / Private House Interior Design Project

About the project
The Extended Apartment is a typical two-bedroom flat with the area of 80 m2 located on Sohanak area in Tehran. The young couple who owned this apartment was suffering from lack of sunlight and a limited area of the living room. There were two main challenges: the dark tiny living room and the mess of stuff. As a result, the design team decided to redefine the borders in order to expand the area and the natural light of the living room. Beside, some multi-purpose closets were proposed to contain the objects while being functional and decorative parts of the design. The Extended Apartment is a practice of redefining the borders in a residential place. This project conducts light, voice and life by an uncertain division.
