About the project
The project objective is to create a comfortable space for children, spending most of their time at school. The architects used a typical rectangular volume to divide it into two parts and made them solar-oriented. The minor part remained cubical, whereas the major one was shifted floor by floor in a cascade manner and looks like a circular staircase, thus featuring a child’s climbing the steps towards knowledge. From above, the school resembles an open hand-fan, which is also referred to in its name.
Overall design code of the school and its premises implies an integrated space where children don’t just learn new things, but also grow and develop in balance.
