About the project (provided by the applicant)
The Floating Pier and Lodging Project in Sormiou, Monaco, is a sustainable, multifunctional waterfront complex combining three lodges, a floating pier for large boats, and facilities for water sports. The architecture integrates cable structures resembling sails, aerodynamic design, and mesh wall seawater pools to minimize environmental impact. Thermochromic windows and the careful use of local, sustainable materials optimize energy efficiency. The layout maximizes natural light and sea views, while dedicated docking areas and controlled swimming zones ensure safety and convenience. This project offers a luxurious, eco friendly experience, harmonizing with the natural surroundings, and establishes a new landmark for recreation and lodging in the region.
