«In memory of the victims of the Holocaust, with gratitude to the Red Army and home front workers who defeated Nazism during the Great Patriotic War.»
In Jewish tradition, stones are a symbol of remembrance, left on graves as a sign of respect. Stones soaring in the air, overcoming the laws of gravity, embody the triumph over the gravity of evil and the incredible struggle for life. The silhouette of these stones takes the shape of a flame: fire symbolizes the human soul.
Among the stones of the monument are ten brought from ten sites of mass extermination of Jews during the Great Patriotic War: Auschwitz, Treblinka, Sobibor, and Majdanek (Poland); Buchenwald and Dachau (Germany); Babyn Yar (Ukraine); Rumbula Forest (Latvia); The Pit (Belarus); Zmiyovskaya Balka (Russia).
Each soaring stone is a memory of the millions of Holocaust victims, gratitude to the Red Army and home front workers who defeated Nazism during the Great Patriotic War.

Its life is that of a living organism, but subject not to natural laws, rather to social and anthropological ones. Our projects are united by the themes of society and the city. And the image of the CITIZEN, the urban dweller and citizen.
