Friendly environment for people with mental health issues, inclusive design concept

Best Implemented Interior Design Project for Public Space

About the project
This is the first ever Russian design concept for people with mental health issues implemented within a museum. There will be a sensory room with a set of art therapy modules. The purpose of such a room is enriching a visitor’s sensory experience, restoring his/her emotional equilibrium, teaching  him/her new communication skills. Used by a competent psychologist or educator, this room can become a tool to pattern or verbalize sensations and new knowledge of the world.
