Project
“Glavny” Gastromall

Category
Best Implemented Interior Design Project for Public Space

About the project (provided by the applicant)
When designing the food court at “Yekaterinburg City,” we aimed to create a unique space with Ural identity.

This represents a new approach to gastromall design: a single unified space without visual clutter. One key element of the design code is the Shigir Idol, the oldest wooden sculpture, twice as old as Stonehenge and three times older than the Egyptian pyramids. Another element of Ural identity is the use of serpentinite and copper in decor and furniture. The patterns and images on planters, tables, sofas, and partitions connect the space to regional roots.

We created an environment that feels like a restaurant rather than a food court, with no excessive noise or brightness, all unified under a single concept. Despite the diversity of cuisine, the space flows as a cohesive whole.
