About the project
The town-planning concept of the place is based on seeing the fortress as a starting point for a city. Almost every old town or city of the Leningrad Region has got a fortress. The net of interconnected courtyards comprises 9 areas, each of them used as a leisure site and a narration about the old fortress. The key objective of the project was establishing an outdoor administrative center - transformable and adjustable - that would be pertinent in the future. The designed facility is quite variable, as it comprises the public, the business, and the lifestyle clusters at once.
