Project
Glass House

Category
Best Implemented Project of Private Residence

About the project
Located in a gated community in Brumadinho, the house is surrounded by nature. A huge effort was made in order to save as much of the existing trees and vegetation as possible.
The Glass House is a simple construction. The floor plan, succinct, takes advantage of every square meter and gives an impression of a much larger construction than it really is. The client’s desire who has adopted a minimalist lifestyle and loves gardening, nature and music was fulfilled.
The house consists of two 6x12m modules — maximum size of the steel bar — , a 3×12 m module, plus the balcony, this way we could avoid to waste material.
Metallic structure, aluminum window frames, glass, fair-faced concrete finish closing, technocement floor and porcelain tiles in the bathrooms defines the space and capture the surrounding landscape in its splendor.
It’s almost a tree house!
