Category
Best Project of Public Space by Student

About the project
Based on another landscaping plan being implemented in one of the city’s districts, this project aims to develop a sustainable and comfortable urban environment. To achieve this goal, it offers to create and implement a comprehensive urban tree management plan. This will increase environmental sustainability of St. Petersburg and attract beneficial insects, creating conditions for their reproduction.
The space is intended to draw public attention to the problem of the extinction of beneficial insects in cities. Its design is a reference to this issue and features playgrounds, sculptures, paved paths, bike lanes, and outdoor furniture, which give the landscaped area its own identity.
