Project
Grey Rock Half-Timbered House
Category
Best Implemented Project of Private Residence
About the project (provided by the applicant)
The contemporary architectural form of the house is accentuated by a sloped wall with panoramic glazing, visually enhanced by an “inverted” roof. The interplay of these elements creates a striking silhouette while maintaining a sense of stability and balance. The monumentality of the volume is softened by windows of varying sizes and a vibrating façade slat system that adds liveliness and refinement.
The centerpiece of the interior is a double-height living room with an inclined glass wall, complemented by exterior raff blinds that regulate sunlight and create a play of light throughout the day.
The project includes a staged transformation concept: a guest house, entrance group, and spa block can be added to the main volume. This approach allows for the creation of a cohesive, ultra-modern residential complex over time, adaptable to the evolving needs of the owners.
