House on the Slope

About the project (provided by the applicant)
The course project of an individual residential house was designed for a large family of a rural doctor in the village of Svetly, Yelizovsky District, Kamchatka Krai. The house is located on a challenging site—a plot with a significant slope, yet offering a stunning view of the bay.
During the project development, issues of stability on the seismically active terrain were resolved through the foundation design and by dividing the house into sections that echo the complex relief of the site. The house withstands winds from the bay thanks to its separation from the main body of the doctor’s annex. It creates a contour that follows the terrain, allowing residents both to enjoy panoramic views of the bay and to feel protected in Kamchatka’s harsh climate.
For the roof, a zinc-titanium alloy was chosen, providing effective thermal regulation, durability, and eco-friendliness.
